Golden Copy of Holy Quran Displayed in Libya

A golden copy of the holy Quran, produced in Russia, is to be displayed in Libya's International Quran Exhibition, slated for the holy month of Ramadan. According to the information dissemination website 'Akhbar Al-Yawm', Manager of Russian WT Company Vladimir Prosakov said that Libyan officials sent a letter to the WT asking for the copy of the Quran to be displayed in the International Quran Exhibition. The exhibition is held with the cooperation of Authors General Council, the International Association of Islam Promotion, and the General Council for Owqaf and Relief Affaris of Liya. Organizers of the 10-day exhibition are to allot one special pavilion to the golden holy Quran. The WT Company has copied a manuscript of the oldest hand-written holy Quran dubbed "Othman's Quran", which is preserved in the Oriental Institute of Russia in St. Petersburg. The golden holy Quran was displayed for the first time in Boshkin Fine Arts National Museum in Russia with the support of the Organization of Islamic Conference as well as the Arab League. It is worth mentioning that the golden holy Quran has also been displayed in the 15th International Holy Quran Fair in Iran.

Quran Online is a resource available on the internet for learning how to read and memorize Quran using the Internet.
